It is right at the top of my butt crack. I have not hit it on anything. There is a bump in the area and a large black area all around it. I am scared. I am 26 year old female. I have a history of hemorrhoids and endometreosis along with cysts on my ovaries. I am a larger women of 220 Ibs. I just want to make sure I had those areas covered in case they hold any reason why I am having this. It is painful to sit lie down and bend over. Please help. It just happened out of nowhere. It has been like this for 3 days now.
Thank you for your quick responses. I just got back from the emergency room and It was the cyst. They performed a quick 5 min. procedure right in the exam room. The pilonidal cyst is just a glorified term for a really big pimple. LOL. Caused by ingrown hairs it forms and if caught early enough does not need exstensive surgery. I was lucky.

It could be a cyst. It could be an ingrown hair that you irritated. I am guessing the black area is actually bruising? Since your problem area is toward the top of your bum I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Put a warm compress on it to help the pain. I would see your gynecologist though if I were you, since it’s in such a hard spot to treat by yourself. Good luck!
The bump and the black area around it concern me and pretty much seem to say that this need to be checked out by a dr. If it was just pain in that area there are muscles in that area, across the lumbar region, that get tight and can cause some pains back there. I’m adding them along so you can give them a try to see if they do anything for you. If not please see a dr. Here’s how to free up the muscles in your lumbar area:
Lower Back, Lumbar:
While sitting place your hands behind your body just above the buttocks and press in on the muscles next to the spine and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your self forward as far as you can. Then release the pressure but hold your body there for another 30 seconds. Move a few inches down and do it again and keep repeating until you reach the end of your tailbone.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed. Good luck.
You should definitely go to the doctors.
Especially since you have a history of those things.
